About Me

My photo
Mrs. Bodkins
Welcome to Kindergarten! My name is Mrs. Bodkins and I have been teaching at NMBP since 2005. I am a National Board Certified teacher and I have been Reading Recovery® trained through Clemson University. I have earned my graduate degree in technology through Lesley University and attended Marshall University for my undergraduate degree. I have recently just finished my Black Belt certification from the Common Core Institute. I was born in Pittsburgh, PA (Go Steelers!), but did much of my growing up in the hills of West Virginia. I moved to the area in 2005, and my husband and I have a handsome little boy, Eden. I love being a part of the North Myrtle Beach community and NMBP staff.
